Lower Terrace Travertine Tile

These engraved pieces of travertine are reclaimed from the original 1951 lower terrace of the Edith Farnsworth House and are available in a limited edition.

The material was quarried in Italy c1949, shipped to the United States and cut to size by a stonecutter in Missouri. They were then shipped north by rail and trucked to the site for installation in 1950. The same thickness of travertine was used inside and out, but during the 2021 restoration, the lower terrace was redesigned for thicker travertine. This is a limited time opportunity.

 Each tile is handsomely packaged in a branded box. 

One tile per person/purchaser.
